C. Gray Taylor is a Kingsport, TN world renown master knife maker. A master knife maker of more than 30 years, C. Gray Taylor is one of the most accomplished artisans working in steel in this or any other time. He is one of only 25 Makers who participate in the Bi-annual Art Knife Invitational, and his work has been featured in magazines and knife publications all over the world. C. The blades and frame are perfectly polished and the handle sports exquisite presentation grade Mother of a Pearl scales which you must see to appreciate the beauty of and fire in the pearl. Featuring superb liner filing and are master engraved and inlaid with genuine 22KT gold accents. ATS-34 satin finished blades. Small blade has normal light opening marks. Excellent fit, finish and snap. 3 1/4” closed. This is an ultra rare early made Taylor knife made in the early 90’s and is sure to only soar in value. Everything about this is Knife perfection. ABOUT THE MAKER
Creating art in the form of custom knives is an obsession for this maker. For the past 37 years, C. Gray Taylor has devoted himself to this art form. Today, he specializes in reproductions of historical multi-blade gentleman folders, using steel, precious metals and exotic handle materials to create his interpretations of these classic pocket knives. He is a member of the Art Knife Invitational, a prestigious group of 25 of the most collectible knifemakers in the world. The AKI Show is held for one day every two years in San Diego, CA and is attended by invitation only by both makers and collectors. In 2017, he won 'The Buster' which is awarded for the best overall display of workmanship, named for the late Buster Warenski the undisputed master of the craft. This was the fifth time Gray has won the award, having previously won in 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2015.

Chuck Hawes has been a full-time knifemaker since 1995. He is known for his forged Damascus steels. He makes all of his knives from scratch and designs each piece to be collected or used.
