Knives we ordered this knife in OD/BLK Black but back-ordered there are 17 new styles in total and we have many coming. Some we can't bring to you the Push Button Series is one. But the new pocket knives have already won several different awards 4 or 5 have won and we will bring you the info. as we gather it. Right now this is our best pocket knife we stock, it is new for 2020 and I took the clip off mine and carry it in a nylon sheath, pocket clips can be great but more people lose their knives because of the clip catching something and pulling the knife out of your pocket without you even knowing.

In the June 2020 issue of Field & Stream Magazine, there is an article entitled "The 20 Best Knives Ever Made," by David Petzal. The author states his primary reason for choosing these knives as "they simply work better than anything else. K.O.A. The EAGLE FOLDER,  The FEATHERLIGHT HUNTER SERIES, and The ONYX FOLDER.          Also the COHO FILLET 086FG & 315FG ,316FG WON TWO MORE AWARDS, in the past 4 years K.O.A. has won 5 different awards on 15 of their knives, no other manuf. has done this.

On 8/5/21 we got 24 more of these great pocket knives  , wow. Since then we have sold 16 more of this pocket knife and started keeping 24 in stock because we sell-out every time we get these they sell quick, 24 sounds like allot but 24 can sell in days it has already happened, but they can also sit we never know so we do our best.
This will be the last time you see this knife, K.O.A. has discontinued it they have stopped making all pocket knives with a Clip. We couldn't keep these in stock and now these will be our last ones that is a bummer, yes I'm being nice. The S30V is the #1 rated alloy made for cutlery even the handle material is super strong you can drive over it without breaking it, so if you want one of the best knives made please buy it now 36 may sound like allot we never know 36 could be here for months or be gone in days that is knife selling. And its not just this 796FG its all pocket knives with a clip, today is 12/18/20. We ordered all of these K.O.A. had which was 51 total we got them on Jan. 3rd 2021 and now on 5/30/21 we have 18 left, and just 3 of the 795FG. Some of the others we have 921FG and please look closely at this one I can't say all I want about it, K.O.A. is changing their entire lines of pocket knives soon you will see new numbers never used before so many people wanted pocket clips on their knives and K.O.A. only made two now they will have one with and one without giving you more to choose from, but it will take a while for us to get all of them and put them in order that you can understand. Plus prices will go up so to avoid that buy one now and save . give or take.

This Onyx Folder is a fantastic Pocket Knife starting with the Blade a Spear Point S30V is the best alloy in the Blade/Steel/ Index  S30V is Best in the three categories they use this is a nice start and its Locking they call it a Liner Locking Blade, looking at it there is just one piece of metal meaning some call it a Frame Lock. They put a Thumb Groove in the handle for easier opening and you can see all of this in the 12 pictures. Moving to the Handle Black G10 one of the strongest materials used in the Cutlery Industry, and it does have a Pocket Clip something many of you email me about on K.O.A. pocket knives most do not have one. And all of the lines are straight the blade does not touch either side of the handle it is center perfect. So this Onyx Folder model 796FG and weighing 2.3oz. is one superior pocket knife if you want one of the very best go ahead buy one treat yourself.
